Yokee Snapshot Privacy Policy

What the extension does

Yokee Snapshot lets an authorized Yokee user use their existing Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok browser sessions when generating a Snapshot. The extension does not collect session information until the user enables access and initiates a Snapshot workflow on Yokee.

Information accessed

For a requested social platform, the extension reads only cookies with the names needed to confirm and use the signed-in session. These cookies may contain authentication tokens and platform account or user identifiers. The extension also stores the user's access preference locally in Chrome. It does not read browsing history, passwords, page contents on social platforms, or cookies from unrelated websites.

How information is used

Session information is sent to Yokee only when needed to generate a Snapshot. It is used by Digitix-operated Yokee services and the infrastructure providers required to deliver and process that request. It is not sold or used for advertising.

Storage and retention

The access preference remains in the extension until the user revokes it or removes the extension. Social session values are not stored in the Yokee application database. They may remain temporarily in secured delivery and processing systems only for the time needed to complete or retry the requested Snapshot.

User choices

Users can decline the optional social-site permissions, revoke access from the extension popup, remove the extension, or sign out of a social platform. Revoking access stops future session reads but does not cancel processing already requested.

Security

The extension restricts communication to approved Yokee origins and requests access only to supported social platforms. Yokee validates submitted session data and uses secured application infrastructure to process Snapshot requests. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Yokee Snapshot's use and transfer of information received from Google Chrome complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
